Terms Of Service

By booking with Shuck Yeah, you’re agreeing to the terms and conditions below. These little guidelines help keep things running smoothly between you (the Client) and us, Shuck Yeah, a proud part of 3 Fish Co Pty Ltd and Dawson’s Oyster Supplies.

We promise we’ve tried to keep things simple—so please give them a quick read!

Definition:
“Services”
: Refers to our catering and event service magic, including but not limited to, the provision of food and staff.
“The Equipment”: Includes all goods, The Oyster Bar Cart, The Full Oyster Bar, all other equipment, consumables, and accessories provided by Shuck Yeah for your event.
“The Client”: That’s you! Or your designated representative (the person you’ve trusted to handle all the important things)
“The Site”: Your venue or event location where our services and equipment will be in action.
“Our” and “We”: Refers to Shuck Yeah, along with our fabulous team and contractors.

Modifications to the service and prices:
Shuck Yeah reserves the right to modify or discontinue any of our services on our website or adjust prices at any time without prior notice.

Payment:
To lock in your date, a 50% deposit is needed at the time of booking.
The rest? Due 7 days before your event so we can get shucking without a hitch.
All events come with a minimum spend of $460.00 plus GST—because even oysters have to pay the bills.

Cancellations:
If you need to cancel, just drop us a line at hannah@shuckyeah.com.au.
Need to cancel more than 30 days out? Full refund on your deposit, no problem!
Between 30 and 14 days? We’ll have to keep 50% of your deposit.
Between 13 and 7 days? It’s a full forfeiture of the deposit.
Within 6 days? Sadly, we’ll need to keep the total invoice amount.
But hey, in the rare chance you have to pull the plug last minute, we’re happy to try and shift your booking to another date (if we can swing it). Just reach out, and we’ll do our best to make it work!

Equipment:
Our Shuck Yeah team will take great care of all the equipment we bring along, but if things get a bit too lively and there’s damage due to guest misuse or negligence, the Client is responsible for covering those costs. We’ll send an invoice for any repairs or replacements, and we kindly ask that it’s taken care of within 7 days.

Functions, Food, and Extra Hands (a.k.a. The Fun Stuff):
When you book with us, we’ll lock in your package and add-ons, so please confirm everything at that time. If you need to make any changes, just let us know in writing at least 7 days before the big day.

If the party goes longer than planned (we love when that happens!), additional charges will apply for each extra half-hour per staff member. We’ll sort out the invoice for those extra hours after the event at a rate of $25 per 30 minutes.

Food allergies:
We’re all about serving up the freshest molluscs and shellfish, but it’s up to you, the Client, to make sure your guests know what’s on the menu. We cannot be held responsible for any reactions to shellfish, so please make sure everyone’s aware and safe.

Feedback (We’re All Ears!):
Got something on your mind during the event? Don’t hesitate to flag down one of our friendly team members. We’re here to help and will work to resolve any hiccups right away. Your feedback is super important to us, so feel free to reach out with any comments or questions after the event, too!

Media (Say Cheese!):
We love capturing the magic of each event, and we might share a few snaps, videos, or kind words on our social media or website. If you’d rather keep things private, just shoot an email to hannah@shuckyeah.com.au before your event, and we’ll make sure to respect your wishes.

Disclaimer of Warranties; Limitation of Liability (The Legal Stuff):
Shuck Yeah provides its services on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without any warranties of any kind—so while we promise to do our best, we can’t guarantee that everything will be flawless or exactly as you envisioned. In no event will Shuck Yeah be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages that might arise from your use of our services. That’s our way of saying we’re not responsible for anything unexpected that might happen while we’re doing our thing.

Indemnification (A Bit More Legalese):
By booking with us, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold 3 Fish Co Pty Ltd t/as Shuck Yeah and its affiliates harmless from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses that might come up from your use of our services. Basically, if anything goes sideways on your end, you’ve got our back.

Governing law
These Terms of Service are governed by and will be interpreted according to the laws of Australia.
